These terms govern the purchase of any product or service sold through builtwiththis.com and its checkout pages. They are a binding agreement between you and Built With This, 701 South St Ste 100, Mountain Home, Arkansas 72653. By completing a purchase you accept these terms.
All customer service, order, refund, and billing questions go to jon@builtwiththis.com. We respond to every message within two business days, and usually the same day.
Built With This sells digital educational products and related services for people building or buying a custom home. These fall into three categories:
Individual products, their descriptions, and their current prices are listed on builtwiththis.com and shown again on the checkout page before you pay. All prices are in United States dollars. Some products are offered at promotional prices through our own email and funnel campaigns, so the amount charged can differ from the list price depending on where a purchase began.
Everything we currently sell is a one time purchase, including the founding membership in The Custom Pass, which is paid in a single payment. We do not currently sell subscriptions, and nothing on this site enrolls you in a recurring charge.
Checkout and payment processing are handled by SamCart and Stripe. We do not see, receive, or store your full card number. Your card statement will show a charge from Built With This.
Digital products are delivered immediately after payment, both on the order confirmation screen and by email receipt. If a download does not arrive within one hour, email jon@builtwiththis.com and we will send the file directly.
Services are delivered within seven business days of receiving everything we need from you. If we cannot begin because the required material has not been submitted, the order stays open and remains fully refundable.
Digital products carry a 30 day refund. If a paid download is not worth what you paid for it, email jon@builtwiththis.com within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. No questions, no forms, no return required. You keep the file.
Services are refundable in full until work begins. Once the deliverable has been produced and sent, the service has been performed and is no longer refundable, because it is custom work made specifically for you. If you are unhappy with something we delivered, contact us and we will make it right.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your bank, funds typically appear within five to ten business days.
The following terms apply to the founding membership in The Custom Pass. Where they differ from any other section of these terms, this section controls for that membership.
Term. The founding membership is purchased for a single payment and provides twelve (12) months of access to the private member site, beginning on October 26, 2026 (the "Opening Date"), regardless of the date of purchase. Access ends at the close of the twelve month term.
No automatic renewal. The founding membership does not renew automatically, and you will not be charged again at the end of the term. Any continuation of access after the term requires a new purchase at the price then offered.
What is included. The membership includes access to the Ask the Builder forum, recorded Builder Breakdowns, the field document library, and the member community, together with the digital products identified at checkout as included with the membership. Digital products included with the membership are delivered upon purchase and are governed by the license in the section titled "License and permitted use."
Guaranteed written answer. During the term, each member is guaranteed a written answer from us to at least one (1) of the member's questions per calendar month, delivered within five (5) business days of the question being submitted. For founding members, the first question submitted is answered within three (3) business days of submission. Additional questions are answered as time allows. Replies posted by other members do not count toward the guaranteed answer. The guaranteed answer does not carry over to a later month if no question is submitted.
Format. The membership does not include telephone calls, video calls, site visits, or a review of plans or drawings. The Video Floor Plan Review is a separate service sold separately.
Community content and privacy. Questions sent to us by email are seen by us only. Anything you post in the member community is visible to other members. If your question is used as the basis of a Builder Breakdown, you will be identified, if at all, by first name and last initial and only with your consent, and no information identifying your property will be published.
Refunds. You may cancel the founding membership and receive a full refund by emailing jon@builtwiththis.com at any time before the Opening Date or within thirty (30) days after the Opening Date. Digital products delivered with the membership may be kept. After that period, the membership is non refundable.
Conduct. Members agree to treat other members respectfully and not to post unlawful, harassing, or promotional content. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates this paragraph. A membership terminated for such conduct is not entitled to a refund of any portion of the membership fee.
Not professional advice. Answers, Builder Breakdowns, and community discussion are educational and are subject in full to the section titled "What these products are, and are not." We are not a party to your construction contract, and nothing in the membership replaces your builder, designer, engineer, inspector, or local building official.
If something is wrong with your order, email us first. We would rather refund you in one message than have you spend three weeks in a bank dispute. Because our refund policy is unconditional for 30 days on digital products, there is no situation in which filing a chargeback gets you your money back faster than emailing us.
We reserve the right to refuse future purchases from accounts that file fraudulent chargebacks.
Discount codes are issued at our discretion, and each code carries its own terms shown at the time it is offered. Unless the offer states otherwise:
Promotional pricing does not change the refund policy above. A discounted purchase carries the same 30 day refund as a full price one.
Two versions. The Video Floor Plan Review is sold in a standard version and a private version. The standard version includes the content license described below. The private version does not, and nothing from a private review is used publicly in any form.
Content license (standard version only). By purchasing the standard version you grant Built With This a non exclusive, perpetual, royalty free license to record, edit, and publish the review, including portions of the plans, the markup, and the commentary, as educational content on our website, newsletter, and social media channels, and in our paid products.
What we remove before anything is published. Before any part of a standard review is made public we remove your name and the name of any owner or occupant, the property address and any location detail, the lot, parcel, subdivision, or community, the name and contact information of any designer, architect, engineer, or builder, title blocks, and any other information that could reasonably identify you, the people the home is for, or the property. We do not publish any complete plan sheet in a form that could be used as a set of plans. You receive your own private, unedited review video regardless of version.
Authority to share the plans. By purchasing and submitting plans you confirm that the plans are for your own home or project, or that you have the permission of the people whose home or project they are for, to share the plans with us on these terms and, for the standard version, to grant the content license above. This applies whether the home is already built, under construction, or not yet started. If you are purchasing on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have their consent.
Changing versions. If you purchased the standard version and want a private review instead, email jon@builtwiththis.com before your review is delivered and pay the difference, and no content use will occur. Once any content from a standard review has been published, the license cannot be withdrawn for that published content, though we will consider any reasonable request to remove it.
When you buy a digital product you receive a personal, non transferable license to use it for your own home build. You may print it and use it on your own jobsite. You may not resell it, redistribute it, publish it, or share the file publicly. Reselling or redistributing our files is a violation of these terms and of copyright.
Built With This produces educational material for people building or buying a custom home. It is not architectural, engineering, structural, or code guidance for your specific project, and it does not create a contractor, designer, or professional relationship between us. Building codes, site conditions, pricing, and jurisdictional requirements vary. Every decision you take from our material should be confirmed with your builder, your designer, and your local building official before it is acted on. Cost figures are illustrative estimates drawn from past projects and are not quotes.
You are responsible for your own build decisions and their outcomes. Our total liability arising from any product or service is limited to the amount you paid for it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these terms, and the date at the top will change when we do. The terms in effect on the date of your purchase are the terms that govern that purchase.
